Reducing CO2 emissions is a high priority in many industries today. Climate protection has become an essential element of the energy value chain. Proper disposal and recycling not only protects natural resources, but also cuts carbon emissions.
In addition to the struggle against global warming, energetic recycling of raw materials is becoming increasingly important. The energy contained in “waste” as a raw material is gaining in value. Recycling uses a wide range of thermal treatments, either directly burning the material or using anaerobic fermenting. Hence, refuse and waste combustion facilities could represent significant revenue potential for energy production.
